Easter Dove, april 2020
Despite the dire period and the restrictions imposed by the LockDown to counter the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to have our Easter Dove at any cost!
Not being able to go to the pastry shop to buy the typical cake with almonds and sugar pralines, we thought of something different.
It is not an edible dove: made of balsa, bamboo, glossy drawing paper, iron wire and an elastic band, she spreads its wings proudly carrying an olive branch and the hope that this proves will all pass as fast as possible.
not being able to dish it on the table, we hung it over it and she kept us company for the holidays.
With the help of Irene we also made a short cut, using a photo of Borselli's country as a background projected on a monitor and then adding music and writing.
It was the greeting card that we sent to everyone just to feel closer while remaining closed at home.
